I just like to share the scene in the Lion King wherein Rafiki the baboon hit Simba on the head with his stick.

After the lion frowned, Rafiki told him, "It doesn't matter; it's in the past."

But Simba replied, "But it still hurts." Rafiki ended with; "Ah yes, the past can still hurt."

Still, "it doesn't matter, it's in the past."

So get up, patch up, save what you can and march on.

The message simply wants to say… Forgive and Forget. So I think I’ll be marching on and be looking forward for the better days of my life. Life is too short to be wasted and be stressed out with people who don’t even deserved to be an issue in my life.

Tropa Dos Mil

I’m missing these guys…

I can’t remember when the last time I saw my “ka-tropa” and damn, I’m missing these guys so much. Actually, we do intend to see each other if there’s only special gatherings such as Christmas, Holy Week and Weddings. Duh! I hate it but I can’t do nothing 'bout it cause we’re all living with a different life now. Some are married and some are still single, and hahah! I’m one of those singles. Some got beautiful kids and of course, I don’t have one, hu hu hu, and I think it’s not a good thing either. At our age I’m supposed to be living with a married life now with kids and you know, I should be the one mama who’s yelling at their kids too. But sad to say, I’m still single after all…

Sharon, (one of my ka-tropa) sent this picture to me. It was actually taken during the burial (March 2009) of our favorite mama Jing (Elma’s mama). Sad to say that I was not even there to visit her; I have a great love for her cause I’ve felt that she’d treated me like her daughter too when I used to cling with Elma during our college days. (I’ll miss you mama Jing). But anyway, I should be happy instead; our Master has already grasped her hands to heaven.

Our Master Rapper

I’m freakin’ busy these past few days… and the lost of my favorite rapper FrancisM bothers me a lot for I admire this guy… so much….

I remember when I was ten when I started to like his songs and come up memorizing every lines of it. FrancisM is popularly known as the Master Rapper of the Philippines who introduced “YO!” when their first album was released in the 90’s referring to various classes in the society through his songs. The song “Mga Kababayan Ko” really hits the music industry by that time which every Filipino youth barely enjoys the true meaning of it. Aside from being the true Master Rapper, he merely awakens every Filipino’s heart and mind to love our country candidly for as per FranciM, we do perfectly belong in the same races.

I love his song “Kaleidoscope World” because it touches my heart every time I hear it. It sounds so cool in my ears. And lately I was hearing about the song “Lando” by Gloc 9 Feat. FracisM, actually it was a snappy song for me. “Cold Summer Nights” was the song I adored most way back then.

I was in grieved when I heard the bad news about this “Man from Manila.” He was a huge lost and the way he gave his love to our country can never be paid of by anyone. On the other side of being a “FrancsiM”, I can’t indeed see a person more closely to him.

He died at the age of 44 last March 6, 2009 with acute myelogenous leukemia. And because of his contributions in promoting patriotism through music, the Philippine government has announced that he will be awarded with Presidential Medal of Merit. (But anyway co-Filipinos, question: Why didn’t the government gave this award to the master rapper when he was still alive so he could appreciate it then?)

Farewell master rapper, you’ll stay here forever in the heart of every Filipino. R.I.P “yo!”

Cool Rides with Cool Dudes - REVTECH

We went to Subic, Olongapo last Sunday, March 1, 2009 to watch the game Run What You Brung held in Subic International Raceway (SIR). RWYB is in fact a scheme for car enthusiasts who are doubtlessly crazy for racing as they beat up each racer on the field to grasp in less than or more than the allotted time given to them. We gave our support to some of our friends there who was actually a part of the adventure. The cool dudes were Vince, PJ, and Rad and the rest of the Revtech team. Vince got the first place for bracket C racing his Nissan Sentra in 56 seconds, whew! Rad and PJ competed for bracket D and B.

I took some pictures with awesome cars I saw which is really a “wow” to my eyes, and while I do that, I’m queite wonderin’ if I could be a great racer too? Someday??????? Ooohhhh.. I must have a one remarkable ride first before I could try that exceptional game on the field with those fantastic riders.

....by the way, Congrats to everyone! Keep that awe-inspiring passion.

….after watchin’ the impressive event we come around on the nearby beach in Subic and have a great time there. Its soooo cool that I have tried riding the aqua cycle and enjoying the kayak ride as well. I got 3 mugs as a souvenir too. We almost got home at midnight that makes me feel so tired and sleepy. hehehe....


But anyway, it’s a one day pleasure again and I really savor the whole time.
